Technologies

Building Block Solutions®

is a wide range of Barebone servers (chassis + motherboard + possibly expansion cards) and modular components that can be used to create energy-efficient and optimized systems for specific IT solutions. With this methodology, it is possible to design a system suitable for use in data centers, high-performance computing clusters, graphical workstations, as well as standalone server environments.

UIO (Universal I/O) / WIO

Enables maximum and flexible expansion through the use of additional I/O cards, which can be added to the system via a UIO/WIO (riser card) module attached to the motherboard. This technology allows you to add an additional 3 expansion cards in a 1U chassis and 7 in the case of a 2U chassis. More than 20 expansion cards are available: SAS/SATA RAID5, 10Gb Ethernet, Infiniband. For example, a 1U server with a UIO/WIO module can support: a SAS/SATA controller with RAID5, 10GbE, Ethernet or Infiniband support. This technology allows you to minimize the number of servers you need to run your business.

Twin

The Twin family includes 1U and 2U servers. A 1U server contains two computing nodes, while a Twin 2U can contain up to four computing units. Each node in the Twin architecture operates independently of the others.

FatTwin™

This is the latest product in the Twin architecture. It allows to fit up to 8 independent nodes in different hardware configurations in a 4U chassis. The versatility of configurations allows to optimize the server for various environments, such as: Data Center, Cloud Computing, HPC, data server or application server.

MicroCloud

It is 24, 12 or 8 nodes integrated in a 3U chassis. Each node operates independently, but common as with Twin technology is power supply. Technology optimized for Cloud Computing, Data Center and virtualization environments.
