Intel Xeon processors 12th generation E-2300 series
| NewsPrevious time we were able to discuss X12 motherboard models dedicated to Intel Xeon E-2300 Rocket Lake-E processors, but in today's article we will discuss the 12th generation title processors in order to present the differences found between them
The most important things in the Intel Xeon E-2300 Rocket Lake-E specifications are as follows.
models have between 4 and 8 cores
support for SGX technology (512 MB), which was a big part of the 10th generation Intel Xeon processor series codenamed Ice Lake
support for 20 PCIe Gen4 lines for the CPU and PCIe Gen3 lines (up to 24) for the PCH
doubled CPU speed for PCH from 4x to 8x.
Intel C250PCH features SATA 3, USB 3.2 Gen2x1 (10Gbps) and USB 3.2 Gen2x2 (20Gbps) support.
Dual Channel DDR4 3200MHz unbuffered ECC memory, which allows for up to 128GB of RAM (32GB per DIMM slot)

Na tle wszystkich procesorów według danych z tabel najlepiej wypadają Intel Xeon E-2356G i Intel Xeon E-2378.
Premiera procesorów z serii E-2300 wydaje się nieco spóźniona. Intel niedawno zaczął udostępniać wyniki wydajności nowego projektu procesora Intel Alder Lake Hybrid i Golden Cove budując antycypację na ich nadchodzącą premierę. Dla branży serwerowej hybrydowy Alder Lake może okazać się o wiele bardziej opłacalnym rozwiązaniem niż Intel Xeon E-2300. Procesory Intel Xeon E-2300 głównie sprawdzą się w małych firmach gdzie istotną rolę odgrywa ich niezawodność lub w serwerach, w którym sprawdzi się do osbługi mniej wymagających zastosowań.
